President-Director of AutoBinck, Rolf B. P. Lauret, retires

AutoBinck Group announces that Rolf B. P. Lauret, effective February 1, will retire from all his roles associated with AutoBinck activities. Rolf Lauret has been active for over 65 years and has played a decisive role in the development and growth of AutoBinck Group.

Following the passing of his father, Rolf Lauret took on leadership in 1960 at the age of 22. Even at that young age, he was among the first to actively engage with the Japanese automotive industry. This led to the introduction of Mazda in the Netherlands in 1968, with Auto Palace – de Binckhorst in the role of importer.

In 1992 he founded AutoBinck Holding. Under his leadership AutoBinck Group established itself as an international mobility group with activities in automotive, leasing, fleet management, energy, and sustainable mobility. In 1995, Rolf Lauret handed over operational management to the Executive Board while remaining active as shareholder and chairman.

Succession

The responsibilities of Rolf Lauret will be redistributed among the other board members of AutoBinck Beheer.

The Supervisory Board, Executive Board, and shareholders express their sincere gratitude to Rolf Lauret for his exceptionally long service, leadership, and vision.
